Lobo® Zoysiagrass is a highly adaptable, low-input turfgrass that delivers exceptional performance and visual appeal. It establishes quickly and retains excellent color and turf quality with minimal irrigation and fertilization across a range of climates, including warm-temperate, warm-humid and hot-arid regions.
Lobo is resistant to large patch disease and leaf spot fungi, making it a dependable choice for challenging growing conditions. While originally selected for low-maintenance use, Lobo continues to perform at a high level under standard management, offering a premium appearance without intensive care. Its versatility makes it well-suited for a variety of applications, from upscale home lawns to golf course fairways, and its broad climate adaptability positions it as a marketable, high-quality option throughout the southern U.S. and the transition zone.

Maintenance:
Proper watering upon installation is essential to successful establishment.
Water thoroughly upon installation ensuring that both the Lobo is wet and the soil is most to a depth of 3", which is approximately 1" of water per day.
In hot weather, water within a few hours of installation to mitigate sever damage or loss due to heat/dehydration stress.
Shaded areas and heavy soils require less water than full-sun areas and sandy soils.
When proper rooting is evident, alter irrigation program accordingly.
Zoysia best performs when it receives approximately 1 inch of water per week.
Fertilize your new lawn once rooted with a light application of 10x10x10 fertilizer.
Mow as soon as your new lawn is rooted - at the recommended height(see table below).
Mow when grass is this tall: 2" 5cm
Set cutting height of mower to: 1.5" 3.7cm
Mow with sharp mower blades.
